Noelle Brown
I am a PhD student in Human-Centered Computing in the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah with research interests in data science and computing education and ethics in AI/ML. I am currently researching ways to integrate ethics into undergraduate computing courses with the hopes of teaching future technology leaders to be mindful of the potential consequences of their code. I am passionate about fair and ethical AI/ML and I believe that I can have the most impact in the field by educating others. I consider myself a lifelong learner and I view education as one of the most important gifts in life.
I received my MS in Data Science from Southern Methodist University and BS in Mathematics from Colorado State University and I have experience working as both a mathematics and Data Science instructor.
I am advised by Dr. Eliane Wiese.
My pronouns are she/her/hers.
